No challenge is more intriguing to Colorado residents than the “Fourteeners”–a group of 55 mountains peaks all in Colorado and all higher than 14,000 feet above sea level. A team from Baetis Inc., providers of customer relationship management (CRM) tools for independent agents, has taken on the Fourteener challenge.
The team so far has climbed Grays Peak, which at 14,270 feet is the ninth highest in Colorado; and Bierstadt Peak (elevation 14,060 feet, the 38th highest).
The Baetis summit adventurers include (l-r) Intae Myong, Director of Marketing Intelligence; Jack McMahan, CEO; Erik Duffield, Vice President of Operations; and Mark Van Iwaarden, Director of Marketing.
As additional incentive for the Baetis team, a beneficiary of the climbs will be InVEST, an education foundation to build business and insurance skills in high schools and community colleges around the country. InVEST generates the largest pool of qualified insurance recruits. For every foot the team hikes, it will donate 10 cents to InVEST.
