San Diego-based ConfirmNet Corporation and ebix.com Inc. entered into an agreement to offer ConfirmNet’s CertificatesNow service as the exclusive third-party online provider of certificates of insurance for agents and brokers on ebixasp.
CertificatesNow is an online service allowing agents and their insureds to create, deliver and manage certificates of insurance for third parties requiring evidence of the types and limits of policies in force.
“This offering is another step forward in our attempt to streamline insurance technology while launching state-of-the-art web-based agency systems such as ebixasp.com,” stated Robin Raina, ebix.com CEO. “We stand committed to converging business processes in the insurance industry. The ConfirmNet agreement is one example of that belief and commitment to our agency user base, as we continue to both develop and offer a host of top quality e-commerce tools designed for the independent agent.”
Workflow between ebixasp users and CertificatesNow will be seamless because CertificatesNow will be an integral piece of the ebixasp system, according to Rick Morgan, executive vice president of ConfirmNet.
While the agreement creates an exclusive arrangement for CertificatesNow and ebixasp, the organizations also will create two-way interfaces for online insurance certificates between other ebix.com agency management system product lines and CertificatesNow.
