The California Insurance Wholesalers Association has thrown its support behind Assemblyman Tom Calderon in his race for state insurance commissioner.
Calderon, who has received the support of The United Farm Workers, AFL-CIO, The Service Employees International Union; United Food and Commercial Workers State Council; California School Employees Association; State Association of Electrical Workers; Los Angeles Police Protective League; California Conference of Machinists; California Teamsters; Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 1277; California Organization of Police and Sheriffs; United Domestic Workers of America; Communication Workers of America, Local 9400; San Bernardino/Riverside Central Labor Council; and Laborers, Local 300, is running for the position currently held by Harry Low.
