Two of Sacramento’s oldest and largest insurance companies plan to merge June 1, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The John O. Bronson Co. will merge with Pickett-Rothholz & Murphy. The merged property and casualty brokerages will operate as the John O. Bronson Co., with the staff expanding to approximately 95 employees, managing more than $100 million in written premiums.
