California-based Esurance Inc., a direct-to-consumer personal auto insurance company, and Provident Credit Union recently announced a partnership to provide Provident’s members with online access to personal automobile insurance through Esurance.
This partnership will include joint marketing of Esurance’s automobile insurance service through both offline and online venues and enables Provident to provide its members with quick and easy access to auto insurance quotes and coverage. Provident members can access the service directly through Provident’s Web site at www.providentcu.org.
“The partnership between Esurance and Provident Credit Union will create a great opportunity for Provident’s high tech members,” said Tom Capp, director of Channel Development for Esurance. “Provident members will be able to manage their auto insurance policies online 24 hours a day, with the ability to make changes to driver or vehicle information and even print out a proof of insurance all through Provident’s Web site.”
“This partnership with Esurance will further enhance the service we offer our members,” said Jim Ernest, senior vice president of Provident Credit Union. “We recognize that in today’s fast-paced world, our members need online solutions that provide flexibility, responsiveness and 24-hour accessibility. We are pleased to be partnering with Esurance to bring more choice and online convenience to our members.”
