A.M. Best Co. has reaffirmed Salt Lake City, Utah-based Workers Compensation Fund (WCF)’s A-minus (Excellent) rating.
According to A.M. Best, WCF’s A-minus rating reflects the mutual insurance company’s excellent financial strength, strong reserve practices and dominant market position. It also acknowledges WCF’s unparalleled local presence and excellent reputation for a customer service.
“Having received this rating for six consecutive years, demonstrates WCF’s long-term ability and commitment to meet our obligations to our policyholders,” said Lane Summerhays, WCF president and CEO. “We are pleased to offer our customers the reassurance this rating provides, especially considering the economic trials and financial instability many other insurers face.”
