Ariz.-based International Insurance Launches Two New Products

November 5, 2003

Flagstaff, Ariz.-based International Insurance Group Inc., a managing general agent for Mexico Crossborder Transportation Insurance, announced the launch of two new online products available via its Web sites at www.segurospaisano.com in Spanish and www.mexpro.com in English.

SegurosPaisano.com is a dynamic Web site where any Spanish-speaking consumer can purchase Tourist Auto Insurance for the USA or Mexico. USA visitors to this Web site can purchase automobile coverage to protect them while they are temporarily in Mexico. Mexican visitors to SeguroPaisano.com can purchase automobile coverage to protect them while they are temporarily in the USA. It is important to note that both of these coverages are mandated by the USA and Mexico authorities. IIG offers this product via appointed agents and brokers in the USA and Mexico, and also direct to consumers online.

Director of Hispanic Markets for the Ariz.-based company Nate Watson said, “We understand the Hispanic market and its rapid growth in the USA. Our main goal is to serve this market the best we can.” This site is specifically designed to be the “one-stop shop” for tourist auto insurance, from either side of the border.

Another new product offered by IIG is coverage for Mexican Commercial Tractor Trailers entering the US Commercial Zone. Through established underwriters and advanced systems, IIG offers this product via appointed agents and brokers in the USA and Mexico, and also direct to Trucking Firms.

Insurance agents, brokers, promoters, and insurance companies can sign up to use both of these sites, earn commissions, and ensure that all their customers are obtaining quality auto and commercial insurance for Mexico and/or the USA.

According to Jim Labelle, president of International Insurance Group, “These new Web sites and products have helped us to solidify our position as the leading provider of auto and trucking insurance products for US Plated vehicles in Mexico, and conversely, Mexico plated vehicles in the USA.”
