Donald A. Friedman has been named president of the Monterey, Calif.-based Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN). PLAN is a national nonprofit organization of insurance agencies specializing in risk management and loss prevention programs for architects, engineers and environmental consultants.
Friedman was formally installed as president at PLAN’s 2003 annual meeting, held recently at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Also elected to board executive committee posts were Vice President Patrick McLaughlin of McLaughlin/Brunson Insurance Agency in Dallas, Texas; Secretary Wyatt Sanders of Alexander & Sanders Insurance Agency in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Treasurer Al Chinn of Dealey, Renton & Associates in Oakland, California. Kim Fricke of Professional Concepts Insurance Agency in Ann Arbor, Michigan, also serves on the executive committee as Immediate Past-President.
