Itasca, Ill.-headquartered Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Johnsey Insurance Agency Inc., of Fresno, Calif. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1942, Johnsey Insurance Agency offers risk management, property, casualty, workers’ compensation and employee benefits services to its commercial clients in the western United States. They specialize in the construction, commercial property, food processing, manufacturing and transportation industries. Mahlon Buck, LeRoy Tucker, Jr. and their associates will continue to operate in their Fresno and Visalia, Calif., locations under the direction of James McFarlane, west coast regional manager of Gallagher’s Brokerage Services Retail Division.
