INAMAR, the marine marketing and underwriting division of ACE USA, announced the appointment of Linda Endress as assistant vice president and marine underwriting manager of INAMAR’s Marine Facilities Group (MFG). Based in San Diego, she will have overall responsibility for new business development, enhancing relationships with existing customers and assuring consistency in underwriting standards and compliance.
With more than 20 years in the insurance arena, Endress joined CIGNA Property & Casualty, a division purchase by ACE in July 1999, in 1983 in the Salt Lake City office as an underwriting team leader. After holding several field underwriting management roles, she joined INAMAR Recreational Marine in 1997 as an underwriting team leader. Prior to her tenure with ACE and CIGNA P&C, Endress worked at St. Paul Fire and Marine and Home Insurance in various underwriting roles.
The Marine Facilities Group (MFG) of INAMAR Recreational Marine Insurance specializes in the creation of comprehensive insurance packages for marine-related businesses, events and facilities. This includes yacht clubs, marinas, boat dealers and many other recreational marine opportunities. Many of the MFG products include both marine and non-marine coverages.
ACE Select Markets, a division of ACE USA, focuses on the underwriting and marketing of specialty insurance products targeted towards specific insurance buyers, affinity groups, small businesses and niche industries.
