Industry Results Show Positive Signs for Workers’ Comp Line, NCCI’s Chief Economist Says

We lost our home to a fire on August 29th, 2004. We are in dispute with our insurer because the cost to rebuild it is more then the replacement cost of the policy so we consider it a total loss. We do not want to rebuild at that location for a number of reasons yet the insurer states they will not pay replacement cost if we don’t rebuild.
We have hired an adjustment firm to handle this loss for us and it has been almost 6 months without any resolution.
