Moraga, Calif.-based Insurance Industry Charitable Fund announced the addition of Bonnie Delehoy as vice president of development and partner relations.
In this new full-time position, Delehoy will be responsible for nurturing and growing existing relationships and focus on implementing creative strategies to engage new partners and increase fundraising and other forms of valuable involvement in community efforts.
Delehoy spent more than 13 years with The Walt Disney Company and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. She led training and development classes in the world-renowned Disney style of Guest Service for internal employees and outside companies. In 1994, the senior executive team selected her to travel extensively, both domestically and abroad, as the Disneyland ambassador to the world, official spokesperson and emissary of goodwill. She held several managerial positions in public affairs, where she most notably piloted an internal employee giving fund that succeeded in raising over $1 million in charitable grants for nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California. Most recently, as manager of executive communications, she worked to develop the communications planning process and produce strategic communications including keynote addresses. Delehoy has served on numerous nonprofit boards including the Volunteer Center of Greater Orange County, Corporate Combined Volunteer Project and Anaheim Interfaith Shelter.
