
Louis J. Zem
Longtime industry fellow, Louis J. Zem, 80, passed away on Aug. 15, 2004, in Fort Myers, Fla., where he resided after retirement.
Zem was a well-known property casualty insurance broker in Los Angeles for many years. He served as resident manager for the New Hampshire Insurance Company, where he served in various capacities for 20 years. He also served as a production manager at Cravens, Dargan and Stewart, Smith, Haidinger Inc. prior to becoming an independent insurance broker.
Zem will be missed and remembered fondly for his “red socks.”
