Los Angeles-based Brown & Riding Insurance Services announced that industry veteran Camille Anderson has joined the firm as Director of Production and Client Support Services.
Anderson comes to Brown & Riding with over 30 years of insurance experience with both wholesale brokers and insurance carriers. After beginning her career by spending more than 20 years rising through the ranks at Stewart Smith West, she also spent two years as Brokerage Services Supervisor at Alexander Howden North America (now a part of AON), three years as Manager of Underwriting Services with RSA Surplus Lines Insurance Services, and consulted with such companies as Willis and Axis Insurance Company.
In addition to a deep knowledge of the wholesale industry and insurance coverages, Anderson also has extensive experience with quality control, training, and effective workflow management, all of which will be crucial in her role as Director of Production and Client Support Services. In this newly-created position, Anderson will be responsible for promoting a seamless connection between Brown & Riding’s clients, carriers, brokers, and brokerage support personnel, while keeping a focus on the company’s priorities of teamwork and consistent policies and procedures.
“Camille’s role is integral to the future success of Brown & Riding,” said Chief Operating Officer Scott Carroll. “Her team-building and quality assurance experience will go a long way toward helping us achieve our ongoing goal of excellence in client service. With the firm’s current and near-future rapid growth, we need a driven, dedicated leader to help us stay focused on what sets us apart – partnership with our clients brought about by professionalism, consistency, and teamwork. I’m confident Camille is the right person for that role.”
Anderson will be based at the company’s headquarters in downtown Los Angeles. She can be reached by telephone at (213) 452-7060 or via e-mail at canderson@brownandriding.com.
