John Miller, CEO of California-based Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates, announced a pair of events in the history of the 68-year-old insurance brokerage intermediary.
During the week of April 1, Lawson-Hawks both closed on its acquisition of the assets of Dillenback & LoManto, an independent multi-lines insurance brokerage in Monterey, and occupied its new corporate headquarters at 1091 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Mountain
View.
“While these two events are seemingly unrelated, both are indicative of the growth and direction of Lawson-Hawks,” said Miller. “Joining forces with Joe LoManto and his folks at the Dillenback & LoManto firm in Monterey is a wonderful move for both companies. While D&L now has a technically proficient partner with excellent systems, markets and a depth of skills in underwriting commercial and personal lines insurance risks, Lawson-Hawks becomes the beneficiary of a historic insurance family concern on the Monterey Peninsula, where relationships, integrity and service have been the benchmarks of its fifty-year presence.”
The new corporate home of Lawson-Hawks, southwest of the intersection of Shoreline Boulevard and Highway 101 in Mountain View, is an ultra-modern office complex of more than 35,000 square feet that has been remodeled to accommodate the insurance brokerage firm.
