The companies of Employers Insurance Group, which include the leading workers’ compensation carrier in Nevada and companies doing business throughout six western states, announced the appointment of William E. Yocke as chief financial officer for the group’s two major companies, Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, and Employers Compensation Insurance Company. Yocke also will serve as treasurer of the EIG Mutual Holding Company and EIG Inc.
In announcing Yocke’s selection, EIG President and Chief Executive Officer Douglas D. Dirks said, “This appointment marks the addition of significant financial expertise to our management team. William Yocke’s career is marked by proven strategic performance in each position he has occupied throughout his long career. His experience, competence, and sound financial decision-making will prove vital resources to EIG in this period of strategic growth.”
Yocke joins EIG as chief financial officer after occupying increasingly prestigious financial reporting, management and administrative positions. He spent the past year as senior vice president for the Willis Group, a London-based risk management and insurance intermediary. Prior to that, Yocke provided independent consulting services to AVRA Financial, Inc., of Dallas, and earlier served as Chief Financial Officer for AVRA Insurance Company. He spent six years as director of Deloitte & Touche West Region Actuarial and Risk Management Consulting, and for 10 years was director of West Region Risk Management Consulting for Ernst & Young.
