A small earthquake occurred in the ocean off San Diego early Wednesday.
The magnitude 4.1 quake hit at 1:51 a.m., 54 miles west of San Diego, according to the U.S. Geological Survey and the California Institute of Technology.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
