Redondo Beach, Calif.-based Bliss & Glennon Inc. has announced that it has added a new market for New Start Residential Contractors in California.
“We are very excited about this new facility. In addition to our growing list of residential wrap and non-wrap products, we can now offer to our producers a Best’s rated “A VIII” non-admitted market that targets subcontractors working on new residential projects,” said Robert Abramson, president.
Program Parameters include: $25,000 minimum premium; $5,000 minimum self-insured retention; 1/2/1 maximum limits of insurance;
occurrence form (defense cost outside the limits is available); and no limit on the number of homes in a project.
For eligibility, applicants must be in business 5 years; 10 designated classifications are available; no multi-unit/condominium/townhome work is acceptable, and non-wrap work only.
Submission requirements include: Acord application; company-specific contractors questionnaire (coverage limited to classifications represented on the application); 5 years of currently valued hard copy loss runs; and a project list for the past five years.
