To assist nonprofits locked into claims-made forms the Nonprofits’ Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC) and Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance, Risk Retention Group (ANI-RRG) is now offering prior acts coverage.The coverage is available on new business to NIAC and ANI-RRG. The lines of business that are eligible are general liability, social service professional and improper sexual conduct. The prior acts may be granted for one, two or all three of these coverages.
Limits are: General Liability – $1m Occ. and up to $3m Agg.; Social Service Professional – $1m Occ. and up to $3m Agg.; and Improper Sexual Conduct – Up to $500,000 per claim, and $500,000 Agg. The prior acts limits is not to exceed the expiring policy limit. The prior acts limits may be less than the ‘going forward’ limit.
