Unigard Insurance Group has introduced FlexAuto, an automobile insurance program for independent agents in Idaho and Utah. FlexAuto will be introduced in Oregon, Washington and Arizona in upcoming months. A modified version will be released in California to comply with state regulatory requirements.
FlexAuto is designed to provide more competitive pricing for a broader range of risks and provide agents with insight into how they are rating policies. The system allows agents to quote and submit a policy online, and receive the quote immediately. Thirteen factors are considered including prior bodily injury limits, number of children, home ownership, number of vehicles and credit score/age comparison, among others.
