Rockwood Programs, a provider of employment practices liability insurance (EPLI) coverage, has added two new markets to serve agents in California.
The company has an exclusive distribution arrangement with Genesis Insurance Co. to offer EPLI coverage on an admitted basis. Minimum premiums start at $1,700. Genesis is a member company of Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Group, rated “A++” by A.M. Best.
Rockwood also has a defense only EPLI product for companies with 15 or fewer employees. The Rockwood Guardian EPLI Program offers coverage for as little as $600. Liability limit options of $50,000 and $100,000 are available. All polices are issued with a $5,000 retention. Coverage is written on a surplus lines basis through certain underwriters at Lloyds of London. Risk management services are also provided as part of the insurance package. There is a range of liability limit and retention options, as well as a tool kit of risk management aids.
