Donna Braun a former underwriter at Yates and Associates, has died, following a long battle with cancer.
Braun had more than 20 years of industry experience. She began her insurance career at Safeco Insurance; but it was 20 years ago when she joined Jim Yates at Hull & Co. – followed him to Market Action and later Yates & Associates. As one of Yates’ executive underwriter/brokers, she helped to lead the underwriting department and was a familiar face at all the industry events. As her battle with cancer raged on for several years, she kept in touch with her industry friends.
Braun is survived by her sons, David Olmsted, Jim Olmsted and husband, Philip Braun.
Services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the St. Mathew Church Parish of Angelican Catholic Church, 2300 Ford Rd, Newport Beach, Calif.
