Wholesale Connection Insurance Services has announced that it has
purchased a book of homeowners business from Swett & Crawford. In conjunction, Chris Nitz and Yul Hur have joined WCIS. Both previously handled the program at Swett & Crawford.
The homeowners programs targets high-valued properties and can include earthquake coverage. It is placed with Homeland Insurance, a subsidiary of One Beacon.
Warren Stanley, president of Wholesale Connection ( WCIS), intends to grow the business and emphasizes the earthquake component, which has become more difficult in the market.
