The Los Angeles chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society installed new officers and directors for the 2006-2007 year.
New Officers are President Eunice Downing-Jackson, Mitsui Sumitomo Marine Management; President Elect George Wallace, Wallace & Schwartz; Vice President Terri Ulbricht, Marsh Risk & Insurance Services; Secretary Reiner Braun, Marsh Risk & Insurance Services; Treasurer Wes Kwon, ISU-UNI Insurance Services; and Immediate Past President Rod Simonds.
New Directors are Gene Calahan, CIBA Insurance Services; John Chesebrough, Chesebrough Associates; Fabiola Irias, THB Intermediaries; Mary King, Keenan & Associates; Tessa Lucero, Marsh Risk & Insurance Services; Robert Rosenfeld, Variance Management; Paul Wagner, Gen Re; Joe Wetter, Wetter Insurance & Risk Management Consulting; and Robert Wilson, Aon Risk Services.
Following the installation ceremony, Betsey Brewer, National CPCU Society president elect, discussed how the CPCU designation had a positive impact on her career advancement within the insurance industry. She also pointed out that the future challenges and opportunities of our insurance industry will further strengthen the importance of the CPCU designation.
Newly installed Chapter President Eunice Downing-Jackson ended the installation by recognizing immediate past president Rod Simonds for his energetic leadership and tireless effort over the past year.
