The Latin American Agents Association named its Valor Award winners at its Holiday Gala. Valor Award recipients are said to exhibit the highest levels of professionalism and dedication, and were selected by LAAA members for their efforts on behalf of the association and insurance producers in general.
The awards were presented to:
-Community Advocate of the Year: Sharron Varga of Action Shoppe Insurance;
-Insurance Person of the Year: David Mandel of Alliance United Insurance;
-Market Representative of the Year: Gerry Knowles of Access General Insurance;
-Auto Market of the Year: Align General;
-Health Market of the Year: Blue Cross of California;
-Commercial Market of the Year: Yates & Associates;
-Life Market of the Year: AIG American General Insurance;
-Agency of the Year: Cost-U-Less Insurance; and
-Vendor of the Year: Hawksoft Client Management Systems.
Also at the gala, the LAAA inaugurated its newest accolade, the Vanguard Award, presenting it to Efrain Ferrer of Strong Tie Insurance.
