ECM Insurance Services Inc., a San Francisco-based management liability and property and casualty insurance wholesaler, announced that is has changed its name to Socius Insurance Services Inc.
The company said it chose to honor of its 10th anniversary with a name change that better reflects the company’s philosophy. Socius is a derivative of the Latin word for partner, which describes its collaborative approach to working with its retail brokers and carriers.
The change is effective immediately. All mailing addresses and phone numbers will remain the same, and all ECM e-mail addresses will be routed to the new Socius e-mail addresses. Web site: www.sociusinsurance.com.
