The Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) of Northern California and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society (CPCU) Golden Gate Chapter will present their first joint program, “Directors and Officers Insurance for Private Companies,” on April 11, 2007 at The City Club San Francisco, 155 Sansome Street in San Francisco.
The seminar will speak to the D&O exposures unique to private companies, the various insurance coverages available to directors and officers, what to consider when purchasing D&O insurance, and current litigation trends and claims issues. Speakers on the four-person panel include: Deidre Finn, professional liability underwriter for Navigator Group; David Marsden, consultant for Advisen Inc.; Louis Castoria, attorney for Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP; and Mary McCutcheon, attorney for Farella, Braun & Martell, LLP.
