The California Assembly Insurance Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing at 9 a.m. this morning on workers’ compensation permanent and temporary disability.
Since the workers’ compensation system was reformed in 2002 and 2004, employee groups have complained that benefits to workers were cut to severly. Others says the reforms were necessary.
