E.L.M. Insurance Brokers based in El Segundo, Calif., has formed a new commercial package division to be managed by Clancy Johannsen.
Johannsen has been with the company for the past six years, five of which have been as a broker. She has 12 years experience in the commercial P/C arena for all lines of insurance.
The new division will include the following lines of business: property/contents/inland marine (less than $1 million total insured value), workers’ compensation, commercial umbrella/excess, builders risk and special events coverage for specific classes. E.L.M. anticipates it will be able to obtain coverage for small commercial lines packages (apartments, restaurants, small manufacturers, etc. with less than $10 million in receipts) in the next month.
New relationships have been formed to write standalone product liability for standard and non-standard products, product designers and engineers needing complete environmental liability solutions for both third-party and first-party exposures.
