Mountain View, Calif.-based Thoits Insurance has elected Ken Bollier to its board of directors.
Boiler began his career with California’s State Compensation Insurance Fund in 1962. After working at several different companies, he returned in 1973 as a management analyst. He was named president and CEO of SCIF in 1995 and served in that position until his retirement in December 2002. He also has served on the governing committee of the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau and the board of directors of the California Workers’ Compensation Institute.
