    Why can’t the homeowners be made to insatll somne type of outside sprinkler system that would keep the surrounding area or roof wet during a fire.

    If they are paying the price to live there, then they should be made provide some protection

    There is a fire retardant (Foscheck) that AIG is using to protect houses and their surounding vegetation from fire. It seems to work and more people are using it since the Castle Rock fire.

    Claims Guy – i agree with your comment but if this happened then people would have to assume and accept personal responsibility and accountability for their actions and why do that when you can just sue someone else?
