Lynette Lavin has been promoted to claims manager for California State Compensation Insurance Fund’s Los Angeles Claims Services.
Lavin began her State Fund career in 1988 as a claims adjuster for the organization’s Woodland Hills District Office. In the ensuing years, she took on additional responsibilities including assignments as a medical liaison and medical cost containment representative. In 1992, she was named Woodland Hills District Office assistant claims manager. She later transferred her supervisory skills to Los Angeles Claims, and followed this by her most recent post in 2005 as assistant claims processing center manager for State Fund’s Burbank location.
