G.J. Sullivan Co., a member of Los Angeles-based The Sullivan Group, has appointed Sharon Haenig as commercial lines manager for its office in Orange, Calif.
Haenig will be responsible for business development and market relations for the Commercial Lines Division. The capabilities of this excess and surplus lines unit range from in-house, binding authority markets that handle smaller, non-standard risks to brokerage markets that can handle larger, excess and surplus lines accounts.
Haenig comes to GJS from Hartford Steam Boiler, Los Angeles, where she was a member of the Nonstandard Treaty Division, with a focus on the excess and surplus lines market. She began her insurance career in 1988, joining her father, Harry, in the family business, The Haenig Agency.
