San Diego, Calif.-based Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc. announced that Richard S. Rohde, president of Arrowhead’s commercial auto, specialty contractors and surety programs, is retiring from the company effective June 30, 2008.

The company had previously appointed Bill Trzos as Arrowhead Commercial Division’s new president. Rohde, who will assist with the transition over the next few months, has been with Arrowhead for eight years including serving as the Commercial Division president for the last seven years.

Trzos will lead Arrowhead’s restructured Commercial Division, which now includes five programs – commercial auto, public transportation, surety, specialty contractors package and workers’ compensation. His previous role with the company was president of the workers’ compensation program. Trzos will now be responsible for the Commercial Division’s strategic oversight of underwriting profit, carrier relationships, risk management and business development.
