Cambridge General has revised its farm and ranch program. This comprehenisve program is designed to provide coverage for the following broad array of farming operations, including:
-Aqua-culture operations including cultivation of all natural products found in water environments such as alligators, fish, fish bait, frogs, kelp, seaweed and shellfish. Includes fish farms and fish hatcheries.
-Beekeeping or raising including honey production.
-Farms and Ranches with birds such as chickens, ducks, emus, game birds, geese, quail, ostriches, turkeys, donkeys, horses, mules, fur bearing animals such as fox, mink, rabbit, livestock such as bison, cattle, goats, llamas, sheep and swine.
-Gentlemen’s farms or ranches where there is no growing of crops or raising of livestock for sale or resale.
-Grain, field or forage crops (beans, cotton, hay, fodder, fruits, herbs, legumes, melons, peanuts, seeds, sugar beets or cane, spices, straw, vegetables) includes growing or marketing of these items.
-Greenhouse or hydroponically grown items such as flowers, fruits, herbs, mushrooms, nursery stock, ornamental bushes, ornamental or shade trees, spices, vegetables.
-Lawn sod, ornamental grasses.
-Orchard and/or grove production including berries, fruits, nuts.
-Organic Farming, must be ‘certified organic.’
-Products from farms or ranches such as raw unprocessed dairy products, eggs, hides, meat, pet food, plumage, wool.
-Trees to include Christmas tree operations without cut-your-own exposures, ornamental, shade and timber.
-Vineyards (not wineries).
