WIAA Insurance Services, the agency arm of the Western Insurance Agents Association, has awarded Michael A. Golden with a distinguished service award recognizing his outstanding service during his 10-year tenure on the board of directors. Golden is vice president of personal and commercial products at Fresno, Calif.-based Imhoff-Sunland Insurance Services. He joined the WIAA Insurance Board of Directors as a director in 1998, and also serves as immediate past chairman of the association’s board.
Reflecting on Golden’s service to the board, Alan A. Smith Jr., president and CEO of the WIAA Group, stated, “During Michael’s tenure, he provided wise counsel, valuable industry insight, and unwavering dedication to the members of the WIAA organization. He can take great pride in his many contributions, particularly his stellar attendance record, having never missed a meeting during his 10 years on the board.”
