The Idaho Department of Insurance has created a new online option to
facilitate the application and renewal of licenses for insurance agents. The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) is now available to agents through a link on the Department’s Web site.
“We are striving to make the licensing and renewal process as streamlined as possible,” said Department Director Bill Deal. “One year ago we introduced an electronic licensing and renewal process through Sircon Corp. The NIPR application gives agents one
more option.”
To access either option, agents should go to the Department’s Web site, www.doi.idaho.gov, and click on the Online Services drop-down box. They will be
directed to links for NIPR or Sircon.
