Risk Reducers, a division of Swett & Crawford which specializes in placement of workers’ compensation coverage, has expaned into the California market with plans to expand nationally, the company said.
Brian Barrilleaux, vice president of Risk Reducers said, “A California presence is part of our strategy to expand Risk Reducers workers’ compensation capabilities nationally.”
Risk Reducers has named Cindy Chupp as a producer and marketing representative for the California marketplace. In that capacity she will market, quote and bind workers’ compensation programs. Since 2001 she has served as senior underwriter/marketing for Santa Barbara-based TECIS Insurance Services underwriting a captive workers’ comp program in partnership with Travelers/Discover Re. Chupp began her insurance career with PRS Group Insurance in Ohio where she was a commercial lines and workers’ compensation underwriter.
