The Buckner Company, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, named Kimberly Rons, commercial lines senior underwriter for Colorado Casualty, as Underwriter of the Year.
The Buckner Company nominated a dozen underwriter finalists from more than 180 carriers that the full-service insurance agency represents and chose Rons as Underwriter of the Year based on agency personnel responses regarding her consistently high-level of customer service, underwriting expertise, and professionalism.
“Kim is a tremendous asset for Colorado Casualty and The Buckner Company,” said company President and CEO Terry H. Buckner. “She personifies Colorado Casualty’s commitment to ease of doing business, strong agency relationships, and consistency at the local level and that strengthens our relationships with customers.”
Rons joined Colorado Casualty in January 2008 as a senior underwriter. Previously she was a senior underwriter with Ohio Casualty since 2002, and she has served in commercial lines underwriting capacities with numerous insurers since 1986.
