Julie Savage, senior vice president/branch manager of Heritage General Agency, recently announced that Brian Kelly has joined her Irvine office as vice president.
Kelly will report directly to Savage and will be responsible for expanding HGA’s wholesale brokerage practice and representing the various MGA facilities consisting of multiple lines of coverage including property/inland marine, casualty, professional and transportation.
Prior to joining HGA, Kelly was in the property brokerage division at U.S. Risk Brokers. Previously, he worked at CRC of California as vice president and Sedgwick Re/Guy Carpenter as assistant vice president. Kelly began his insurance career in Chicago in 1988 with Hanover Insurance Co.
While his primary focus has been in the property/inland marine arena with catastrophe risks, builders risks and program development, Kelly’s background also includes multiline underwriting, facultative reinsurance underwriting and intermediary and wholesale brokerage.
