According to the company, Brinson was nominated because she is the only female business owner of a large independent insurance
brokerage. She has trail-blazed her way to the top by being an inspirational leader who motivates her team to be their best. She is devoted to change — breaking boundaries by investing in technology to streamline business processes, customize solutions for clients and protect the environment. She is also a philanthropist, donating regularly to a number of charities.
Prior to forming Momentous, Brinson was a managing director of a large, national insurance brokerage where she was responsible for more than 100 employees. She has 27 years of insurance experience, serving as an insurance company marketing representative, a direct writer and an independent insurance broker. Her expertise is deeply rooted in insuring high net worth individuals through accountants, attorneys, family offices, and company CFOs, as well as directly with high-profile clients. She is well-versed in all agency operations, and also sits on numerous insurance company advisory boards.
Additionally, Momentous has added Judy Dutton as an assistant vice president.
Dutton was formely an assistant vice president for the Private Client Advisors practice of Hub International. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and servicing personal lines accounts. She
has extensive knowledge of the needs of high net worth clients and knows how to properly protect their assets.
