A new managing general agency named ClearSide General has opened in California, specializing in personal lines automobile programs.
The new agency was started with the aim of servicing “the needs of the broker community, with a personal touch that is missing in today’s marketplace,” according to a press announcement.
ClearSide is being led by CEO Byron Storms, formerly executive director for Farmers Insurance, vice president of operations Denise Pavlov, formerly vice president of underwriting at the California State Automobile Association, and vice president of marketing Torry Conroy, a marketing professional with over 20 years insurance industry experience, among others.
ClearSide General, which is based in Rancho Cucamonga, said it has an exclusive agreement with an A+ rated insurance carrier. Its programs will not be offered through other general agencies and will be exclusive in the marketplace.
