The Smart Choice Agents Program, which currently serves 3,000 independent agencies in more than 30 states, announces the expansion of the program into Oregon. Kurt Van Sickle has been named the state’s director.
“We are excited to have someone of Kurt’s caliber, experience and passion leading our expansion in Oregon,” says Doug Witcher, Smart Choice CEO. “He brings unique insight and understanding to his position, and is truly committed to helping agents in Oregon reach their fullest potential.”
Van Sickle brings more than 22 years of sales management, claims and claims management experience to his new position. He also excelled at recruiting, sales leadership, promotions, human resources and compliance. He is an Associate In Claims (AIC) and is working on completing the coursework to attain his Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow.
