The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for coastal areas of Washington State.
The warning covers six areas: San Juan County, Whatcom County, Skagit County, the Adiralty Inlet area, the North Coast, and the Central Coast.
The warning is being prompted by a strong Pacific frontal system that may have winds gusting to 60 mph.
The winds are expected to drop during the afternoon, but may pick up again in the evening and Tuesday, the Weather Service said.
