Alan Schaffer has been named vice president of business development at Vanorsdale Insurance Services based in San Diego.
Schaffer is the youngest person in the firm’s 60 years history to become an owner at 32. He joined Vanorsdale five and half years ago with four years experience working at two smaller insurance brokerages in San Diego. He quickly became the top business producing broker, adding more new clients to the firm than anyone else, while holding a very high customer retention rate.
Schaffer places property and casualty insurance for businesses in Southern California, focusing on workers’ compensation, general liability, property and commercial auto insurance.
