Dealey, Renton & Associates has named Morgan West senior vice president.
West will be based in DRA’s Oakland, Calif. office and will report to President Al Chinn. West’s role will include working with key accounts and assisting in certain management responsibilities.
West comes to DRA from Kibble & Prentice, a USI Company, in Seattle, Wash. where he was president of property/casualty. He merged into K&P along with 42 employees of USI’s Seattle office (formerly Hurley, Atkins & Stewart) when USI purchased K&P in 2006.
West began his insurance career as a life agent in 1985, migrating to personal lines and eventually into commercial property/casualty. In the mid-90′s he took the helm of the lawyers professional liability insurance program at Hurley, Atkins & Stewart.
DRA, which has offices in Oakland, Pasadena and Santa Ana, is an employee-owned company specializing in professional liability for architects, engineers and other design professionals. The firm also works with attorneys, accountants and other businesses.
