This is what happened to me. I made it known to them that I wanted to further my education after graduating with my bachelors degree in Criminal justice. Finding out the difference between national and regional accreditation i called the college I wanted to take extra courses from. Not only did they say they wouldn’t except my credits I checked on my cities local
Police department and they wouldn’t even accept my college being only nationally accredited. I dropped out of Westwood after two years because I didn’t want to waste any more money on their lies. Now I’m stuck with a $40,000 bill to pay off with nothing.

Westwood College put me over 100k in debt since I graduated in 2010 with a web design degree. They sucker you in discussing nothing about accreditation or the classes and then the instructors just pass you by and make you think you are learning something. They are sales people and care nothing about you except money. Now I can’t even go back to school, because my federal loans are exhausted and I can’t get a private loan anywhere. My dad was a co-signer and now he filed bankruptcy and is on the verge of losing the house and this is all because of Westwood “College”. My life is forever ruined and will probably never see justice, because I now have no faith in the education system in the U.S.

I had to pay the college themselves 3,000 plus what they said sallie mae wouldnt pay and now im also stuck with a student loan of 25,000 plus!!
