Make that 102 Uses for a Dead Cat!
And one less use for a brainless Russky eejit.
The guy waited over 2 years to mention his cat that he alleges was in the car at the time and the adjuster paid him $50? I know adjusters are busy and sometimes it’s worth $50 to make someone go away, but the delay alone should have raised a huge red flag even without the $20k demand.
A padded claim for sure.
Sounds like this claim got a little hairy

Hello? PEMCO? Yes..hi.MY name is Samsonov, yea, right, the guy with that accident… look..besides my injuries, my cat Taffy been real stiff..and..what? yea, stiff like a board. When? well I noticed it when I took him for a walk right after the accident, I had to drag him for three blocks, ..what? I’m calling you because obviously the accident also broke Daffy’s neck..Oh, I mean Taffy’s neck. Yea,, thats right, I hadn’t noticed it for 2 years. Right, 2 years! I loved that cat, he was like a son to me. For the past 2 years he never left my side, I carried him everywhere, he never complained, in fact he never even begged for food or water. He just stared at me with those big beatiful milky eyes…….then they fell out…I was heartbroken. What do I want you to do? Two things. Come get whats left of Gaffy, I mean Taffy and come with $20,000 for my suffering!
i think elmer fudd would say that the cat’s value is worth as much as daffy the duck… amazing that he figured after all these years to nelgect to mention a poor famous cat worth over $20k… he was so emotionally attached that years later he missed him… how rare of a cat is it? looks like my persian cat that had papers, which was still not worth $20k… i miss mine, but not for that much, more emotional than anything else…
I love my cat as much as the next person, but, REALLY?! I think that someone should have been paying better attention…
did a quick google image search for “cat”. image was on the 6th page. I give him a B+ for having the cahones to try this stunt, but a D- for effort!
Just goes to show, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting someone trying to commit insurance fraud.
