There is no way that caused the damage unless it was whipped as hard as possible and hit the eye directly. I’m no doctor btw, but my guess is it is genetic.
Wow, That stress ball must have been foam wrapped metal or something… And it must have been thrown at 3,000 miles per hour! That’s talent! I would like to see Myth Busters test that. A foam stress ball did this? Highly unlikely. (I am not an MD either, though.)
“six unsuccessful surgeries” for an injury caused by a foam stress ball? Washington must have already implemented Obama care. Sounds more like a malpractice suit to me.
I dunno….sounds like a work-related injury to me. The councilwome could simply file a Work Comp claim for the medical expense and lost wages. Of course, she could waive the WC benefits and sue her employer for not providing a safe place to work…..
Sweet irony. So much for relieving stress.
Sorry, Miss Harris, but there’s just not enough mass in a foam stress ball to detach a retina. A baseball, basketball etc, can certainly do such damage. I’m also sure your detached retina diagnosis is correct, otherwise why risk the multiple surgeries? But this seems most likely a pre-existing condition you just wanted to find a deep pocket to fund. Oh, personal responsibility, where art thou?
