It seems as if the DA always pursues WC fraud cases when public employees are involved, and not when these cases of fraud are filed against private employers. Interesting where the DA decides to fight fraud and other areas where they simply look the other way.

Prosecute to the fullest extent of the law .. we need to start making examples of these cheaters – show others that they won’t be able to get away with this. We’ve got to start making it easier for the employeRs !!!!!!! We’ve got to keep businesses in California.

Congratulations to the former Sr. Claims Specialist as well as the former TPA team handling LACOE. Together with their incredible investigators they did a wonderful job! It is hard to get any suspected fraud case pursued, whether it is a public employer or a private one. We must do all we can to try and have fraud prosecuted so the employers costs will eventually start to decrease regarding workers’ compensation coverage.
